"I was recommended to USCI by a friend who had work with USCI on commercial projects.
We where remodeling our home and wanted something unique for the walk gates and rolling gates to the back yard. After the initial discussions, I’ve got to say I was impressed with how responsive and creative they are.
They quickly produced conceptual drawings of what we thought we wanted however once we saw the conceptual drawings, realized that design was not “it” Over the next month we bounced ideas back and forth and have to say we where awe struck on how patient USCI was during this creative process. Then one day Eric came up with an idea… 'How about we create a very simple gate and play with color?' That’s when he threw out the custom patina option. Showed us examples of patina and we quickly saw that the “Torched Copper” patina was….IT! As you can see by the pictures these gates are simple and yet amazing!!!
Add to that the use of the soft close automatic gate closers and the way they incorporated a commercial “J” hook door lock on the rolling gate so we have a very very clean, sleek look that is very secure.
Yes! These guys out did themselves. Very easy and fun to create with and the end product is high quality amazing!

"I’ve known Eric at USCI for years and have been awed by his creativity more times than I can remember. As an interior designer, a customer of mine was interested in a Harley Davidson Motor cycle inspired, in a bar height cocktail table. I reached out and explained what the vision was. Eric quickly distilled down a few key issues.
Location - Customer wanted the table for outside on their pool deck….. Pool safety and corrosion resistance are considerations.
Design Considerations – Table has a glass top so you can see the motorcycle rim. – Tempered glass the most durable however still can be broken and when it does it can shatter into small pieces.
Customer has enthusiastic grand children that enjoy the pool. – Table must be very stable under “unique” circumstances.
What was designed and built is sturdy base build out of 1 inch steel plate that collectively weights more than 125 Lbs. At first, I was concerned that may have been overkill but in the end. What the customer received was a very stylish, unique, durable and stable table.
